Re: Calling curvy girls - boobs, bootays, bellies!
I don't have a problem with exposing my arms, but honestly, if I was, I wouldn't want to wear a shawl through the entire wedding to cover them.
Like jennifer, my problem is more with the bow and fit. I just don't think it would be a flattering dress on many plus sized women. Sorry Nic.

It is a very pretty dress
When I was looking for BM dresses the 2 pieces were always the most flattering on every body type
I think your girls will be comfortable - and especially if there is a shawl

Its a really pretty dress...
But if you've got anyone who is bigger on the bottom than on the top, its not going look so good...I know for me, because my butt and hips are so much bigger than my top I need something A line to cover all that...
If you don't have anyone like that, I would say go for it, cause its really nice

I like the dress but I think it would look better on skinny girls - I would NOT be comfortable in that dress.

As a "curvy" girl myself I woudl NOT want to wear that dress. That dress will look good on someone who is slim. I would go with A line. For my wedding we had all body types. I asked the girls to go buy a black dress. The bridal shop tried to tell me i was crazy etc. They all looked beautiful and were wearing a style they were comfortable with. And the could wear the dress again!
Eta it is a pretty dress but id on't feel it would be flattering on plus sized people.
My sentiments exactly. As a "curvy" girl, I would prefer a more a-line style.

Great dress! I'm a bit busty but I found that as long as a dress comes up high enough on top, I feel comfortable and look good in it...that dress should be fine! Oh and they make great long line bras for the girls that need a little extra support!!!!

I don't think that is very flattering - JMO
it's too form fitting, I don't see the A-line

I already told you thi, but I personally have no problem with the spaghetti straps. even though I am large on top, I like my shoulders and I don;t mind wearing strapless, although finding the right bra is a pain.
What i DO have a problem with is the slim sihouette, and also the bow around the hip area. To me that's calling attention to all the wrong things and I would not be comfortable. Granted they probably have it pulled in on the model so the real gown is probably a little fuller, but as a curvy gal I like to call attention to the top, and thios draws all of the attention to the hips and thighs, which I think for most girls, no matter how much they like their curvaceous bods are probably not considered the highlight.
i 100% agree the huge bow in the middle really unflattering to someone who is bigger. draws all the attention right there and if it isnt fitted just right it will pull and cause the whole gown to look messy. the skirt is way too slim cut for someone bigger to be comfortable. satin not exactly known for stretching and after an hour or so it is gong to be really uncomfortable. personally i wouldnt wear that.

yes i like this better i would wear this one with a shawl or a jacket. i like the flow of it and the accent at the chest draws your eyes up.

Re: Calling curvy girls - boobs, bootays, bellies!
This one because of the empire waist & the part that wraps around would hide a tummy!
A 2 peice style would also help hide the tummy too....2 of my bridesmaid were plus size & the 2 piece really slimmed them.
Like the wrap part that would hide flaws!!!
