Can anyone recommend a decent convertible car seat for $150 or less?
We need one for my IL's car. It probably will not be used that often, but we want it to be safe enough for minimal use. Thanks.

Emmy will be getting a Graco My Ride 65 from Walmart...it's $129.50 I like that it's rear facing and has a harness up to 65lbs. The reviews are good on it as well.

Re: Can anyone recommend a decent convertible car seat for $150 or less?
Leslie, I just picked up a the Safety1st air protect one at BRU, the box was bent so it was on clearance, but the seat was not touched in the least and I got for less than 100...I also saw some bent boxes at Target as well on clearance for around 130..the seat is normally over 250....It's gotten great reviews, and again, I inspected it throughly to make sure it was just the box that was bent and it was, it was packaged so securely that nothing could have even touched the seat...Just putting that option out there

The Graco Comfort Sport is great and it's only $80 at Target and not too big and bulky either

Graco's Comfortsport. That is what carseatsafety recommended to me - there are models for about $99. If you are looking for a larger one - there is always the Nautilus 3 in 1 - but that is more (but you will get longer use out of it since it converts from a forward carseat to a booster).

My Mom has this also. It is great because it isn't too big (as far as convertible carseats go...)
And I think it was approx $80 with the 20% off coupon.

Re: Can anyone recommend a decent convertible car seat for $150 or less?
We had the comfortsport in both cars and decided to get the Evenflo Triumph for ease of use. They are both rated well and are a good price. The triumph was MUCH better for us because it tightens with the turn of a small wheel. The comfortsport had to be pulled with a strap, which is just harder to do. And if is easier on us, it would be much easier for an older generation.

BRU is having their trade in event going on right now. You get a 25% off coupon towards a new item. You can get a nice car seat for under 100 dollars...Check out their website.

the firstyears true fit is recommended by baby bargains and is probably what we're going to get for DH's parents car - Amazon had it for just under $150.
