Can anyone recommend an OB/GYN in Queens or W. Nassau?

My gynocologist retired, and I just don't like the doctor she referred all her patients to. We're looking to TTC soon, and I'd like to find a doctor before that. Thanks for any recommendations!

Update: Thanks to everyone who posted their recommendations! I really appreciate it.

As far as I know she is accepting new patients. I seriously love this woman. She is so kind and really talks to you as a friend.

Most of the time (not always) there is a wait BUT it's fine with me. I don't mind waiting since I know when I get in there with her she will sit with me for 3 hours if she needs to. She takes her time and listens to you and really answers all your questions!

It usually takes 1-2 weeks to get an appointment with her,

I'm glad you're asking all the important questions! I just saw a name, with others backing her up, and figured, OK, I'll call!

She's affiliated with Winthrop.

I've never had to wait too long, as I try to get the last appointment of the day so I can go straight from work. she'll sit and talk with you for as long as you need. I never feel rushed. so if I have to wait a while for my turn, I don't mind, cause I know she's giving that particular patient the same time and attention she gives me. Chat Icon

I used to go to Dr.Marci Ostroff in New Hyde Park (right next to LIJ). Her staff is all women. I loved them - but I moved to NJ so I couldn't go anymore.

I use Dr. Hanauer also. Best OB/GYN I ever had.

You might have to wait sometimes in the waiting room but she is worst it. She is with Winthrop.
