Can I do anything now for a plantar wart?
I cannot get rid of this thing. Being pregnant I'm not supposed to use the salicylic acid treatment that I have a prescription for. It hurts so much & it's starting to look BAD. Like bigger & blacker And I feel it hurting when I walk. I know I have to go back to the derm soon but has anyone successfully treated a nasty wart with something safe for pregnancy??? I've tried putting tape on it but my foot gets sweaty & it falls right off. I'm wondering if I just have to wait until after the baby is born to take care of this with the medicine.

Re: Can I do anything now for a plantar wart?
I had one a long time ago and i didn't have insurance at the time so a foot doctor told me to slice a thin piece of garlic and tape it to the bottom of my foot (on the plantars wart) and it will eventually get rid of it. It took awhile but it actually worked!! I don't know if meds are safe during pregnancy, but if you want an alternative to medicine, this was the cure for me! HTH

There are a bunch of home remedies out there you can try. Some that I have heard of are duct tape, apple cider vinegar, banana peel and clear nailpolish.
