Can I freeze Oreo Truffles

I want to make them this week so I can send some to a friend in CA.

Can I freese the rest to have over Christmas?

How do I go about defrosting them?

yes you can, just leave them out to thaw. I have made them weeks in advance and froze them and they stlll tasted great

yes! go ahead and freeze

there have been times that they've been known to disappear straight from the freezer, in my house.

they taste fine after thawing and or yummy in their frozen state, don't ask me how i know

Soooo easy and such a crowd pleaser........

1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 pkg. (16.6 oz.) OREO Cookies, finely crushed (about 4-1/4 cups), divided
2 pkg. (8 squares each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted
Make It
MIX cream cheese and 3 cups cookie crumbs until well blended.

SHAPE into 48 (1-inch) balls. Dip in melted chocolate; place on waxed paper-covered baking sheet. Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs.

REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator.

OMG...I made these this weekend and are the DELICIOUS!!!!!!

I hope they last until Christmas!

I made them for xmas, I dipped them in white chocolate & sprinkled smashed candy cane on top, they were very festive looking & loved by all, thanks for sharing!
