can you put an oil burner in a garage?
so now that we know we CAN move the oil burner, we have to figure out where to put it.
can you put an oil burner in a garage (there would be plenty of room to also have a car)? do you have to build a room around it?
the guy we had in said we CAN do it, but that doesn't mean it's a good idea...

Ours is in our garage (set in an alcove area) along with our oil tank and we still have plenty of room for my car.

My parents burner is in it's own little room in the garage. Just make sure you have a window in there with it that is cracked open all the time. Carbon monoxide and all that.

in my townhouse my burner was in a closet type room in the garage, it was gas not oil though. It also had a vent that went up through the attic to outside.
