Can you recommend a compact convertible car seat?
DH drives the "big" car and I drive a 4 door Honda Civic.
Can you recommend a convertible car seat that isn't really huge in rear-facing position? I'm 5'8 with long legs so I don't have a lot of room.

i have and LOVE the combi cocorro...however, when it's rear facing there is nothing you can do. it's not the size that matters (the 15 year old boy living inside me just laughed  ) - it's the angle at which it must be at.

Thanks Jess, Happy Birthday! This is exactly the one that I was just looking at online. Did you find it in a store to look at in person? I'm not sure we have it at our local baby stores.

no - i liked the way it looked online and we got it from rewards points dave gets at work. we have NEVER seen one in the store. I'll be in LI this coming week if you want to meet up and you can look at it. I feel like it's REALLY soft & cushy...emma seems very happy in it!

Thanks for the helpful info! I'm actually in CT and won't be able to make it to LI (where my ILs live) this week but I truly appreciate the offer. I think I'm going to look in to finding some place online with a decent return policy and free shipping. What color did you get? I think I like the carrot cake and I'm really not an orange lover.

we got the strawberry shake - the website we ordered from only had that color (dave's work point thingy).... i LOVE the color - but if we have a second child - we may need to look into getting a cover or something....
