Can you report road rage
After it happens?
I need to know for future reference. People are unbelievable and some behavior is actually UNACCEPTABLE and they need to know this.

yes, make sure you get the plate number. You can even call from your cell phone while on the road.

Everything is a case by case basis but if you're on the road and a victim of road rage, you definitely can call 911.

Everything is case by case, you can report everything. Of course, the best thing to do is call while it's happening and have the plate number of the car this way the police have a chance of either seeing he behavior or at the least pulling the person over. Afterwards, you can still report it but there isn't much they can do,

I actually did report it once and the 911 operator told me there was nothing she could do...I was being followed by a scary man
ETA...She actually said "what do you want me to do about it"

Unbelievable. If you're ever think you're being followed drive to the nearest precinct if possible. I can't believe she wouldn't assist you or at least tell you what you should do.

I was almost killed by a guy driving a verizon truck on my way to work one day. I was 7 months pregnant and so scared out of my mind. I memorized the license plate and pulled over and called 911. I told them the situation..the license plate number and what had happened. I gave my number and a few hours later, a police officer himself called me back.
Apparently, they caught him driving a couple of miles up. He was speeding like crazy. He got a ticket. Nothing big especially considering he almost killed me but at least he got stopped.
