Can you tell me how long your period was during the cycle you had Mirena put in?
The Dr. told me it might be longer than normal this time (I had it inserted 8 days ago). I usually go 4 days (short I know) but I'm now on 9. It's light but at the same time it's consistent/ not showing signs of tapering off. I read some crazy stories online. I think I need to stay away from Google with this thing bc there are some scary stories in general. Tia.

Until your body adjusts to it you may have break through spotting, which it sounds like this may be.
I always had a long period and then it shortened and now I don't get one at all. I have it a year now.

The first one was I would say 2 weeks, but it was more of a
spotting than a regular period.
After that the period just disappeared.
