Canker sores?
What would be the cause of canker sores in a baby? I just noticed DS has a big one on the front of his bottom lip and a cluster of them on the side.. They're not bothering him, but I was just surprised when I noticed them. Thanks!

Re: Canker sores?
Thank you for responding! I thought coxsackie blisters were mostly on the gums and tongue though - do babies get them on their lips too if it is coxsackie? Thanks for the response

Re: Canker sores?
DD#1 and I both had it and we had them all over our mouths. Good Luck to you! We both had a fever though!

ok, there is more than last night, but just on his lips, and no fever... so I think we're ok - thanks!
ETA: As I look at the new ones, they look more like just white patches, not canker sores, so I'm thinking thrush.. I guess I'll call the dr. and ask. Thanks!
