caribbean island with kids? st thomas? st maarten?
next year i want to take a beach vacation with a 5 1/2 year old and a 2 year old. Probably stay at a marriott (timeshare) if we can.
I have never been to the caribbean so i have no idea where to go. St Thomas, St Maarten, St Lucia, where?!?!?!?
i'd love to do turks and caicos, but it is
 !
i know people love atlantis, but i'm not sure. I want to sit on the beach and relax. This will be our last trip probably before #3 comes.

Just got back from Marriott surf club in aruba....with a 5,4,1 yr olds....
It was a great vacation...very family friendly...don't even rent a car...everything in walking distance

It was a great vacation...very family friendly...don't even rent a car...everything in walking distance
We actually went there 3 years ago i think it was when my son was 2. We loved it there but i wanted to try somewhere new this time around.

We went to St. Maarten when DD1 was around 3. I think we stayed at Westin and LOVED it. It was beautiful and we had a great time.

We are going to Beaches Turks and Caicos next week. It is supposed to be a lot of fun for kids. There are a lot of nice resorts in Turks and Caicos.

I think you would be fine at any of the marriott resorts. most seem to be nice and on great beaches.
FYI if Marriott doesn't work out, We went to Isla Mujeres (island off cancun) last year, and the beach there is great for kids. There is crystal clear blue water and it is shallow for 1/4 mile out. I remember when we were there thinking how great the beach would be for young kids. But you won't find a Marriott there. But there are many affordable options.

thanks, but my husband will not go to mexico because of all that is going on.
