we got a rebate from sears and a check from the gas co. for our new energy efficient washing machine
as a side note:
stay away from the water efficient toilets... they had them in the hotel we stayed in AC and they were horrible!
it wastes more water trying to flush those than regular toilets!
it takes several flushes even to get the smallest bit of #1 or #2 down.

you must have had a bad one b/c my parents have then in all of their bathrooms and they work great.

awww... man! we just re-did our kitchen!!! so looks like we missed out on this, but i did get some manufacturer's rebates and we did get the $4500 towards a new car through the clunkers program, so i guess i can't complain!
