We've been eating meatless meals for at least two meals a week since before I got PG and continued to do so since I've been PG. We'll just make sure Friday is a meatless day.

Im not catholic... Im coptic orthodox if you've ver heard of it lol, its Egyptian Christian. We fast for lent too.
Anyway... We are expected to fast for 50 days with no meat, no fish and no dairy products.... for the entire 50 days.
 
Since Im pregnant I'm not doing it but my husband wants to start soon and itss gonna be he11 cooking 2 different meals, one for me and one for him.
i am eastern orthodox (greek) so its the same thing with us.
when i was PG with DS i attempted to do no meat/diary during for the first and last week of lent and found it SO HARD! this time around im very anemic so i wont even try. i just gave up meat on the first day of lent (this past monday) and will not eat it on fridays. one day a week i can handle...

Just on fridays. I don't eat seafood- so it will be pasta, pizza, pb&j, grilled cheese, etc.

I try and give up meat for Lent.
I admit though - when I was putting this week's menu together I didn't realize today was Ash Wednesday. We'll be having sausage & peppers & potatoes for dinner tonight  .

No...I feel guilty about it, but I just found out I have gd so I have to make sure I get my protein!
