CD 3 monitoring appointment for an IUI
What should I expect for a CD 3 monitoring appointment?
Will they be taking blood, doing an u/s? About how long will the appointment take? Anything I need to bring with me?
Sorry for all of the questions, this is all new to me

Re: CD 3 monitoring appointment for an IUI
My first iui I didn't need any blood work, it was just an ultrasound.
My second CD 3 appointment I did need blood work because my AF was so screwy they needed to make sure I could take the clomid for my upcoming IUI.

Re: CD 3 monitoring appointment for an IUI
CD3 appointment is
Blood work
Internal Sono (This was gross - wear a pad it's easier)
Prescription (I got 100mg of Clomid for 5 days)
GL!

Re: CD 3 monitoring appointment for an IUI
My CD3 was always just bloodwork.
Many REs do sonos, too, but mine didn't. But if you do have one, don't worry - it's nothing! I've had a million of them by now.

Re: CD 3 monitoring appointment for an IUI
My CD3 appointments were always blood and sono. The wait time really depends on the practice and how backed up they are. The actually time of blood + sono is 5 minutes, but i've waited an hour before.
On one cycle, on CD 3 they found on the sono that my lining was way too thick and so that cycle had to be cancelled because the lining wasn't shedding properly. The next month everything was back to being fine on its own.

CD 3 monitoring appointment for an IUI
Mine were always VERY quick- I was in and out in less than 20 mins. Sono, bloodwork, talk to the dr briefly.
