Center based preschool parents

My DS might have to attend a center based preschool based on his delayed speech. He is 2 years, 3 months now has has been getting at home early intervention since the beginning of January. I want to put him into preschool in the fall but was suggested a center based school. We need to meet with the school district to be evaluated but how many parents went through this and their kids adjusted into regular school doing fine?

I will be putting DS into a center based program come September. He has been diagnosed on the spectrum and I fully expect that he will integrate into a regular Kindergarten when the time comes. If you ask your question on the Special Needs board I know there are a lot of people that can answer your question better then me!
