changing table question
i have a a crib and dresser, but not an actual changing table. i plan on putting the chaging stuff on top of the dresser. does it have to be mounted permanently? are there aoptions so that i can change them on the dresser without screwing anything in? i plan to use it as a regular dresser at some point, you know?

changing table question
I would definitely recommend mounting it to the dresser. They get very wiggly on there and it is one extra layer of protection. We mounted it to the back so it does not destroy the dresser at all.

We did the same thing with attaching it to the back of the dresser and it stays pretty much in place. We never bought the actual rails that go on top and make a perimeter around the changing pad and it worked out fine for us

what exactly did you buy? i can't picture what else it would be besides the perimeter as you said.

The changing pad has two straps that you just screw into the back of the dresser. It still moves a little bit but not that much

The one we have for DD can easily be removed with a few screws it's like a flip thing. We didn't buy that type of dresser for this baby being we barely used the one for DD(after the first week that experiment was over).

we put that rubber matting on top of dresser (like what you would use in kitchen cabinets), under changing pad that kept it all in place with DS1 (now almost 2.5). we will do the same with this baby.

We didn't attach. We just put the pad and with the rubber it sticks to the top of the dresser. I also never leave them unattended at all.

We mounted it behind the dresser, you would never know it used to have a changing pad on top. I believe the mounting came with the changing pad, but this was 2008, so a lot has changed.

I never attached anything to my dresser and just put the pad on top. Eventually, the rubber mat on the bottom of the pad would shift when the baby would move around, but I just kept one hand on the baby the whole time.
