Changing table questions
So Im trying to pick out furniture and I have some stupid questions about changing tables...
1.My changing table that I have for the twins has a section right next to where the pad is that I keep the wipes, creams, lotions etc. in. A majority of the changing tables out there dont have this feature so where do you keep the wipes and stuff if there is only space for the pad? On the shelf underneath? Isn't that annoying reaching down everytime to get a wipe out?
2. It seems like changing tables arent even popular anymore. A lot of what I see is the dresser with the flat top to put the pad on top of but it isn't being held in by anything. So what happens when you have a squirmy baby? Does it move all over the place?

Re: Changing table questions
We bought this diaper organizer by Munchkin: http://www.munchkin.com/care/diaper-change-organizer
It attaches to the side of the changing table, or a door, or whatever works in the space. It's perfect!
I've never felt comfortable with the setup of just a changing pad on a flat dresser. There are definitely a lot of changing tables out there with the protective bar across it. HTH!

Re: Changing table questions
For DD, we got the dresser with the flat top. I bought a roll of rubbery matting like the kind you use on kitchen shelves and cut a piece to prevent the changing pad from sliding. Works great!
We put the diaper changing supplies in a small Tupperware next to the pad

Re: Changing table questions
My set is "April" by Creations. The dresser is the changing table (without the hutch). There is a piece that gets added onto the top of the dresser where the pad goes - three sides wood boarder - and there's a strap on the changing pad that goes between the wood and the dresser that holds the pad in place. There is a spot next to that that fits a basket filled with changing supplies and the wipes warmer. There's a drawer under that that has some extras, and a cabinet under that where I keep lots of extra diapers, wipes, warmer pad refills, diaper genie refills. There are 3 drawers under the changing pad filled with DSs clothes.
