cheap crown moulding?
Anyone know where I can buy cheap composite crown moulding? I need approx 575 ft for my dining room, and 300 for our bathroom. Looking for something simple in the dining room, and I have a vintage black/white bathroom, so I'm looking for a more rustic/distressed type of molding for that room

Crown moulding is placed where the ceiling meets the wall. Are you sure you need 575 ft for your dining room and 300 for your bathroom? If those are correct numbers your rooms are huge!

Only if *huge* is a bathroom with 75 feet per wall, for a 5600 s/f bathroom...
That's the size of my half bath... My full bath has an olympic size pool...
I think she means she has a 300 s/f bathroom, which could be a 20x15 foot room, and a 575 s/f dining, which would be roughly double that.
20x15 room = 70 linear feet of crown molding 20x30 room = 100 linear feet
HD and Lowes has fake crown molding. It's some sort of foam, not wood. It's cheaper than wood, easier to cut and hang, and once it's painted, and put in the ceiling corner, you can't tell the difference.

I don't know about composite, but I got most of my molding at Hudson River Mills.
Unless you're actually putting it in the shower, I'm not sure you NEED Composite.
as stated above, I think you need to remeasure, Just add up all the wall measurements.
I'd personally not skimp the crown molding. Especially if you go MDF, its not all that pricy to buy, but it isn't all that cheap to put up. I have a nice 6 inch crown with a lot of detail and I think we paid only around $2.50 a foot to buy. Its been a while, and I don't remember. I think the crown for my downstairs (besides Kitchen) was around $300

That makes more sense...
That's roughly a 8x4 foot bathroom, and a 12x12 foot dining room.
