DS stood in his crib last night for the first time.Chat Icon Chat Icon And the first thing he did was sink his teeth into the crib rail.

The finish on his crib got a little marred from his Fisher Price Aquarium straps, so I'm concerned he's going to wind up eating some of the finish if he chews it.

Can you recommend your crib rail covers? TIA!

Re: Chewing Crib Rails

we got those clear plastic ones from BRU that slide onto the rail and it worked for like a day until Jack figured out how to pull them offChat Icon We'd walk in every morning to find them scattered all over the floor and his crib. DH decided enough was enough and permanently drilled them on with a screw gun. Worked like a charm.

We decided not to glue them on because if they somehow came off....now he'd be eating glueChat Icon

Do the sticky ones ruin the finish on the crib though? I was a little worried about that.

Hmmm, we always could try drilling the plastic ones if he pulls them off though.

You think you are finally finished making things safe for them, then there is something new.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Ours too! She pulled the gummy ones right off. It didn't hurt the finish of the crib, but I was annoyed that they had no staying power.
