Christening Gift Idea from Godfather
Hi Ladies!
My dh is going to be a godfather on Sunday for our niece's christening and although we have bought the gift for the baby, he would like to buy her something special just from him.
Any ideas?

DS’s god father got him, a gold cross, a lenox picture frame, and the Little Tikes Tot Rod (motorized/push car)
His Godmother got him a St Christopher medal (I had asked for this), a baptism statue (more for me), a Cross for the wall, a blanket embroidered with his initials, date of christening, a christening bib. (She had wanted to buy his outfit but MIL wanted to buy it so we let her buy it.)
ETA: Both pieces of jewelery were Adult pieces so he can grow with them but they were on a childs chain.
DH and I have 5 god children and we always buy adult jewelry so they can get use out of it.

The jewelry box is a nice idea!
A frame
A friend of mine owns a invites/favor company and she has this great memory box with a christening gown on it with the baby's name embroidered on it........

Love the jewelry box idea-- maybe check out Things Remembered, you could even get it engraved.
For my DH's godson, we just got him a really beautiful Reed & Barton silver-plated coin bank (his was a race car, but there are several styles on the Macy's site), and we got it engraved on the bottom...it was adorable and the parents loved it!
