Christmas Dinner

Yes, I know it's early. But I'm a planner. I'm hosting my first-ever Christmas dinner for my parents, sister, MIL & her boyfriend, DH's grandmother and grand-aunt. What would be tasty, yet easy to prepare? I'll worry about snacks & apps later, but right now, I'm concentrating on the main meal. Any and all suggestions (& recipes) appreciated.

Thank you!!!!!

Re: Christmas Dinner

Last year, I made soup, lasagna, vegetables, mashed potatoes. Someone brought salad and spinach pie. DH made chicken.

We put out nuts, crackers and cheese.

This year, we'll add more to the menu.

Re: Christmas Dinner

Personally I'm always a ham or turkey person at Thanksgiving and Christmas. We always have tons of veggies and side dishes but we'll be making 1 (or both) of those meats, depending on how many people are there.

Lasagna! I had my first Christmas in our place last year. I made lasagna the day before and stuck it in the fridge. It tasted awesome on christmas day!

I am a traditionalist. I like a traditional christmas dinner.
Turkey (or Roast Beef)
Yorkshire Puddings
Roast Potatoes
Stuffing (sausage meat kind)
Brussels Sprouts with Chestnuts
Carrots
Cabbage

something along those lines. Yummy!

We do the exact same thing. Except there is only 6 of us but we still have both anyways. We have to always have turkey because i don't eat red meat or pork & my brother likes ham

Re: Christmas Dinner

Thanks for all the suggestions, folks! I'm kinda leaning toward a honey baked ham (soooo good). Maybe I'll do a mac & cheese as one of the sides. Keep the ideas coming!
