Christmas Lights...white or multicolor
please take my North poll 
ETA: outdoor...especially if you have an outdoor tree (a living tree)...then again, anyone can answer...it's Christmas time!

We go back & forth. I had white, DH had colored, so we kept both & decide eachyear. One year we mixed them, which looks better than it sounds if you doit right, but I don't put anything outside (yet.)

I was always a white fan...but this year when decorating I think its going to be my last for these lights...I want the fun of color
ETA: year round my neighborhood decorates with white lights on trees...I think it became ordinary to me.

Just my personal opinion...but I've always seen white lights and thought, what's the point?
We LOVE to have colored lights--mini ones on our Christmas tree, and the big LED ones outside. It looks so awesome.

We use a mixture of both. We use colored on the outside trim and the tree inside. We use white on any garland inside and our reindeer outside is white.

White inside and out. My home is from the 1800's and I feel that the white lights "goes" better (obviously, considering they did not have electricity then )

i prefer white. eventually we'll do two trees and do colored lights for the kids' tree, and keeping the white lights for the more 'formal' tree.
outside lights i like white.

We have multi color inside on the tree.
White lights outside on the house. We also have candy canes in our garden & presents on our stairs, so I guess we have red & green too out there.

I have white on the tree, exclusively.
On the outside of the house, I have the C7's - the big colored bulbs like from when I was a kid.
