church/baptism related...
Can anyone recommend a Church in Suffolk (Manorville to Ronkonkoma) that allows 2 men or 2 women to be the godparents of your child?
We are Catholic...and would like both of our brothers to be the godparents...I want to pick family..and we don't have sisters.

We go to Holy Cross Catholic Church in Nesconset. They were very nice there when we were getting our DD baptized. Maybe you can give them call and see what their requirements are. I think their # is 631-265-2200.

you may have to get special permission from your church. When we went for Baptism class they said the rules were recently changed that you must have at least 1 but no more than 2 godparents. If there are two it must be one male, one female
