Class room camera ? Does your school have them in special class ?
One of the parents wants it after recurring injury to the child , and I don’t blame them.
The school is quoting privacy and refusing
Has anyone had them in their kids class

I don’t think any public schools have cameras in classrooms. That would need to be approved by the union and that’s never happening.

I know my school has a firm no cameras in the classroom rule. I am pretty sure it violates the union agreement. Cameras can be found in all common spaces though, except bathrooms and locker rooms.

My SO's son goes to a therapeutic school and they most definitely have cameras literally everywhere.

There is no law saying you can not have cameras but you will be fighting the union. They do not want cameras in the classroom.

The child came from a burn from being close to the heating source
Then there was a bump in head from a fall?
Now there is a nail bruising from the aide
It’s atleast an inch long and half inch wide on his arms
What is the parents recourse ...

what heating source is there in a classroom that would cause a burn. That alone is a safety issue.
Did she get incident reports from these events? if not ask for one and then send to the principal and the superintendent asking them to investigate and you are worried for the safety of the child. Take pictures of any marks, document any issues. If they don't respond, call the police for abuse.
