Convertible Car Seat Position Question
We are installing the convertbile car seat today . The infant seat is currently in the middle, rear facing.
Since she is under the weight and age requirements I know the big seat will have to still go rear facing, but was curious if we should still place it in the middle.
We have a 2008 BMW X3 if that helps responses

Re: Convertible Car Seat Position Question
We have our convertible seat in the middle in both cars. But we used to have to put it behind the passenger seat in my old car because otherwise I had to move my seat up too much which wouldn't be comfortable for me to drive. Check your car's owner's manual for the best place. You could always have it installed by someone to be sure.

Re: Convertible Car Seat Position Question
ITA, check your owners manual for the safest place in your particular car.
*They* say that the middle is still the safest no matter what the seat or car most times....but I know a lot of people find it very difficult to get the kids in/out in the middle so they put them on one side or the other. In our minivan, there's no middle seat in the middle row, so DD's on the passenger side.
