Moving to convertible car seat question
When did you do it? DD is 19 lbs and its getting soooo heavy. I really wanted to try to make it through the winter but I'm thinking I'm not going to. I love the convenience of the bundle me, but my back is paying the price!

We just did it this week, DD is almost 6 months and weighs 17lbs. I have a bad back to begin with so i could barely carry it anymore. i do miss the bundle me, im worried that i dont dress her warm enough.

I have a larger carrier but my DS is almost 25lbs and I still lug him around. I think I will switch over this weekend.
DS is 8 months now.

oh man.... My son will be 5 months next week and we bought the convertible seat this past weekend. Did not install it yet though. He was 15.5 lbs last time we went to the Dr. but he seems really tight and uncomfortable in there.

We made the switch at 6 months... but he was already over 22 lbs which is the limit for my infant car seat... he was also 29 inches which I believe is the height limit too. It has been GREAT! I do not miss carrying the infant seat around at all! DS is much more comfortable and can see out the windows better. He loves it too.
