converting crib to bed
i dont remember if it opens to twin or full...im thinking full. What is the norm? I want to buy sheets for when we open dd crib

I think full. Most cribs have the back and front become the headboard and footboard.

Ours turned into a twin sized day bed first then we can convert into a full size (the back of the crib becomes the headboard). I would think this was the norm for most cribs.

For the majority of convertible beds, they use a standard crib mattress for the crib mode and the toddler bed mode (because the toddler bed is just the crib with the front side taken off). A crib mattress length is the same as a full mattress width, so when the front and back of the crib are used for the bed, they become the headboard and footboard.
