cost of getting inside of new house painted??
We are adding a dormer onto my parents house. We were going to paint it ourselves, but have decided to get someone to paint it since we will both be back at work and we want it done right and itll be faster than if we did it.
Do painters charge by the square foot or by the number of rooms? Can anyone tell me what a good price would be and if anyone has a good recommendation for a painter?

I LOVED our painters!!!!!!! They charged us $5 or 6K for our entire house - cathedral ceilings, lots of angles, priming, little touch ups that the spackle guys missed, and stripes (perfectly measured BTW)...
We quoted out - no joke - 16 painters/painting companies. The other 15 guys wanted $12K and up.
Precision Painting Plus
My FIL saw an ad in our Pennysaver - we used them and recommend them to EVERYONE. I believe MikeandJess on here used them but I haven't heard anything from her so I hope there were no problems...

I paid 500-550 for each bedroom including crown and base molding.
