Cramping - contractions or braxton hicks?

I'm due on Saturday. I have felt crampy throughout the third trimester, but now it is more intense.

I bled on Monday and since early yesterday I've had stronger cramps - they definitely "start" and "end" where the other ones were kind of just like a crampy feeling.

They are very uncomfortable, but I can talk through them and they are not coming at "regular" intervals. I can't predict when the next one will come. They are not getting stronger or longer either.

Is this Braxton Hicks? Do you think it could be the start of something? Did anyone experience something like this and go into labor soon after?

sounds like the start of contractions, have you tried to time them yet?

I am so nervous
They come between 8 and 10 minutes apart! I guess I'll take it easy and keep timing them!!!!

Oooh - that definitely happened to me the week that I went into labor. They would wake me up at night but not get stronger. Then finally they got to a point where they were 5 minutes apart and DD was born 5 hours later! Good luck. AND KEEP WALKING!!
