Credit Card Due Date Changing Monthly?
DH has a credit card from Citi. We haven't put my name on the account since locking it up to pay down the balance when we got married. Anyway, the due date had always been the 19th of the month, and I had the payment coordinated with one of our paydays on the 15th of the month. Last month I noticed they moved it up to the 18th. We got the bill today and it's the 17th.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anything we can do about it? It's just annoying because if it gets pushed back any farther I'm going to have to lower the payments I make on it because I won't have enough money before one of us gets paid. We have never missed a payment and our gym memberships get billed to it once a month so there's still activity on it.

due date can vary between 3-4 days simply because the number of days in a month...call you CC and find the range of dates and change if needed

they're doing that on purpose to make it 25 days in a cycle instead of 30 days. i just called discover yesterday furious because i was never notified of the change and was almost late with a bill.
and i read everything they send me so i know i didn't miss it. they say they're "meeting new guidelines". i told them they're s crewing with customers to get them to pay late.

Exactly!
I never had that problem with MBNA UNTIL they were taken over by Bank of America. One month, the due date was the 28th, the next month, it was teh 23rd. That's a big range and I got the same answer. They truly are crooks!!! I could go on and on about how disgusted they make me.
