Cuomo loosening up Restrictions
Beginning on April 2, event, arts, and entertainment venues will be able to reopen at 33 percent capacity, with up to 100 people inside and up to 200 outside. If guests provide a negative Covid test before entering, the capacity at the venue can be increased to up to 150 indoors and up to 500 outdoors, Cuomo said.
Face coverings and social distancing will still be mandated, Cuomo said.

In addition, domestic travelers to New York State who have been vaccinated no longer have to quarantine or test out within 90 days of their full vaccination, he said.
Residential gatherings
As of March 22, residential gathering of up to 25 can now be held outdoors, with indoor gatherings capped at 10, Cuomo said. Non-residential social gatherings of up to 100 people can take place indoors and events with up to 200 people can be held outdoors.
Cuomo also mentioned the Empire Pass Program: A new app is being developed with IBM that will allow people to show negative coronavirus test results before entrance to events that require testing.
That app has been tested both at Barclays and Madison Square Garden, and those tests have been successful, state officials said; once the state receives approvals, the app will be available for download.

Looks like you were wrong. Are you ok? Or are you going to spin this to make yourself right since you can never be wrong. Can’t be banned for having a different opinion.

Re: Cuomo loosening up Restrictions
It's interesting that the more political pressure Cuomo comes under; the more he lifts restrictions. It's been a long year and it's about time some restrictions are lifted.

He does the same when lawsuits against him start building up.

Yep which is why more places need to start suing.

I had just read the testicles thread (you know, the mistake you pointed out?). Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed today?

This was her comment...
“Was testicles an auto correct gone wrong or am I missing something. I sometimes do get sick of all the testicles.”
She was making a joke out of it. You basically pointed out that I spelled it wrong, with no joking.

Restaurants going to 75% capacity starting on the 19th. NYC will still be at 50%. He also can no longer issue any new directives in regards to Covid. Link

Def a step on the right direction but I wish it was a bigger step. Thank goodness he doesn’t get to impose any new restriction or mandate, but he still gets to extend whatever restriction or mandate that it’s already in place if he wants to.

Cuomo loosening up Restrictions
The heats getting to him. What if he opened everything up? Would people move? What would happen?

People are moving in droves but to places that are pretty much open and less restrictions. I still want to eventually get out of here as it will eventually just be too expensive to live.

Cuomo loosening up Restrictions
Bigger question, you know how people have left states because of restrictions like ny and ca? Will the opposite happen like people who don’t think there are enough restrictions will they seek out states that have more? It’s a serious question.

I doubt people will go to expensive states like NY and CA. Makes no sense as you won’t get ahead.

I think people are tired of the restrictions and will go where things are opening up. We are hitting the "pandemic wall." I do not think people will flock here, even if they want more restrictions. It's too expensive

No. They can just stay home or choose to do things they are comfortable with.
Plus most national retailers are still following guidelines.
If you want less restrictions you can’t simply walk around without a mask. Or host a sweet 16 at a restaurant. You have no choice, your hands are tied. But if you feel there aren’t enough restrictions you have options....stay home, celebrate virtually, order takeout, avoid crowded places, etc....

But now they are saying if you are vaccinated you won’t have to wear a mask.

Meanwhile your “vaccine papers” are only good for 3 months to attend concerts or to travel. Which is it? 3 months or no time limit?

Who knows but isn’t it against Hippa to have to show if you were vaccinated or not?
