Dark question about death experience
Has anyone here been close to death? I don't mean almost died if something was an inch from hitting you but more like you saw the light and were about to walk to it when you were revived? If so, do you have any memories of it? What was it like?

Re: Dark question about death experience
I have no memories of it, but I was hit by a car at 16 and in ICU for 9 days. I was in an out of consciousness and was critical. Sorry I can't give you any of the information I think you are looking for. All I remember is waking up in the hospital, not knowing why I was there, and not having a clue as to what happened.

Re: Dark question about death experience
On a night in November when my entire family thought for SURE my cousin was going to pass away, she woke up and told my uncle that she had "seen the doors to God, but they were closed-" She continued to fight for another 4 months but passed in March of this year.

Re: Dark question about death experience
I know someone who was in a very serious accident, and says he died (I think they brought him back by shocking him). He was in a coma for months, and when he came out of the coma, he said that he actually saw all the people around him working on him, and he felt no pain; almost a sense of euphoria.
Another experience from my grandmother: She had been suffering with congestive heart failure for a long time. Well, we got the dreaded call...get down to the hospital, she is very close to passing away.
The family rush down (she's in another state); The family said their goodbyes, and were very sad. Then, out of the blue...she wakes up, and acts like she had a new lease on life. The MDs were amazed.
Within moments of waking up, she said that she was walking and her mother greeted her. My grandmother was so happy to see her mother, but her mother said, "it is not your time, you have a little more life to live, go back".
My grandmother lived another 8 months, which was a shock to everyone, including all her doctors. And it was a good 8 months, where she smiled, laughed, played cards...enjoyed everyone.
