Day care moms - moving up question
DS will be moving up to the next room. I am not sure if I should get the teachers a small gift as a thank you or not. He started in October and moved up to this room in early December, so at Christmas, I got the first room teachers a gift and the teachers in this room a small token thing. I don't really want to buy Christmas gifts for every teacher he has had during the whole year, since by December he may move up again (and then I am possibly looking at 6-9 teachers total).
What do other people do? Do you just get Christmas gifts for the teachers your DC has at Christmas time and not bother with anything else? I asked DH and his response was that we pay enough already, gifts are unnecessary. I do appreciate them, though, and would like to give them something.

I give the teachers something when DD leaves their room as a thank you.
At Christmas, only her current teachers get a Christmas gift.
