Daycare/Nursery School question
If you send your LO to daycare or any type of nursery school program, is there some kind of sign out process when you pick them up? I have some appointments set up at some nursery schools and was just wondering what is the norm for most schools. I'm sure it differs from place to place but I'm just curious.

We have a four digit code that we enter into a computer when we arrive and depart.
So we enter the code and check her in in the AM and out in the evening.

We have a code as well. If someone other than DH or I pick up DS (it's usually ILs) they ring the doorbell and are let in. If someone comes to pick up DS that they are unsure about (my parents - the asst director told DH they were on the list but, they were never officially added), they call me to confirm.
The office is there right when you walk in the door and you are always greeted as well.

Same here but Tutor Time is like that everywhere. Those kids are on lockdown!
My previous day care did not have anything.

DS's school on LI I'd get buzzed in then punch him in and out on the computer up front by the desk with a 4 digit code like the PP's
In his school now (it's smaller) you get buzzed in by the teachers. They can see you through the glass doors.
I have to call ahead if someone other than me or DH is picking the boys up
The teacher marks when they come in and out.
