Daycare Options for moms of 2 or more
What do you think is the most cost effective form of child care if you need f/t care, and you have 2 or more kids? We are considering our options for this fall and next fall. Right now we have 2 in full time daycare and it is over 3k per month. I would like to do a mix of nanny and part/time preschool, especially when one is in kindergarten (Sept 2013), because I would have to figure out aftercare anyway.

We use an in home certified DC. It was half the price of regular centers.
You're school district may offer after care when DC is in school. I think in my district it's like $10 a day.

we are in the same boat, trying to explore options. I hate the thought of spending 2700 per month on daycare

Tutor Time - $505 a week. 8-6
I have a 2 & 1 year old.
I cant imagine a nanny would be less than that for me ....I could be wrong

Re: Daycare Options for moms of 2 or more
We have a babysitter 3 days a week and my inlaws two days. The babysitter is much cheaper than it was when DS was in Tutor Time. We pay her $300 a week, Tutor Time was $285/week for 3 days a week for one kid.
DS #1 also goes to Preschool half day two days a week.

Wow, and I thought my child's daycare was expensive!! I will have 2 in daycare and I will be paying 2k a month for full time (7:30-5:30) M-F. I guess it depends on where you live.!
