Days and Nights mixed up
My is really a good baby, it is just that she sleeps so much during the day and then when it comes to her nighttime feedings it takes her longer to fall back to sleep, whereas during the day she will sleep thru feeding, burping, changing...etc....
At night after a feed (bottle feed) she is wide awake and it takes awhile for her to dose back off.

Re: Days and Nights mixed up
They do eventually figure the routine out. I never swaddled DDs during the day, only at night. I would keep them swaddled during the nighttime feedings as well and did not turn the lights on (I did watch TV though).

1. lights on during the day, lights off at night 2. keep them engaged during the day, don't engage at night 3. white noise 4. feed every 3-4 hours during the day (even if that means waking a sleeping baby) and then let them sleep as long as they can at night 5. try to wake them about 15 minutes before a feeding and play, and then keep them up as long as possible after the feeding is over

Great advice given already. To play white noise, you can just play static from the radio (inbetween stations)

You're on your way then! White noise is just static to block out all other noise...we actually bought a white noise machine (has other sounds like nature and the ocean also) to play while our daughter is sleeping. She still uses it, at 2 years old!

Thank you for asking this...I am having the same issue.
