db getting chicken pox/MMR vaccine while i'm early pregnant
is ther eany problem with db getting chicken pox/MMR while i'm pregnant? i vaguely recall hearing this.

DS got his chicken pox/MMR while I was pregnant. The ped wouldn't give it to him unless I got clearance from my OB since both vaccines are live. In your initial bloodwork from the OB, they usually check immunity for both so call your OB and find out.
In my case, I was immune and DS getting both vaccines had no effect on me or DD.

I was just at ped's office yesterday and asked them if this would be a problem.
They said no, only people with immune deficiency have to be concerned.
But now that you mentioned it, I think I will ask my OB. I feel like I have no immunity this pregnancy and wonder if we should delay the shot.

my son couldn't get it because I was pregnant and not immune to the chicken pox. He did get the MMR, but we split it, not sure if that made a difference.

DD got both while I was pregnant. Both my OB, ped and my sister (who is also a ped) said it was totally fine. My OB actually said she had never heard that it might not be safe if pregnant.
