Better than where I am. Actually let me rephrase - the democrats I know are fully against her. The republicans I know do not care or even know what is going on. I do not get it.

The worst part, is that it's not even a party-line issue. I fully understand and expect there to be Republican nominees for all of the Cabinet positions. However, she is just unqualified for anything! I can't believe that members of Congress are putting their careers on the line for HER!

I think it is because they do not really know how this may affect them. I have a special needs child so it concerns me especially if funding from public schools gets pulled. It is hard enough fighting for services as it stands now

I'm 99% certain she will be confirmed. I have zero faith in any other GOP Senator doing the right thing. Sad, but true.

I cannot even imagine. This is why I keep fighting back because we have to look out for out kids. I think so many people who voted for Trump were shortsighted and didn't think of the long term effects of his presidency. They just wanted Obama out and anyone but HRC.

Trying to mentally prepare myself for her to skate by. It's so upsetting.
I read the response Toomey sent to friends who are his constituents and it didn't even acknowledge their concerns. I hope this at the very least helps flip a few seats in 2018.

I am so upset by all of this I am a teacher and first the students are going to suffer greatly under her being in charge. I don't understand how none of them have a conscience and so blindly vote party line.
Second and personally I may now lose my job as a title I teacher. Yes I can hopefully find a new position but it really sucks to be so worried about the stability of your job as so many of you know in other fields

I'm disgusted by this! My DS has an IEP and I'm afraid that will be gone soon enough now with this monster. Luckily, we can afford outside help for him, but what about the families that can't? How do I help them? What can be done now, nothing? I don't even know where to begin... well except that in 2018, I can't wait to show my disgust for Pat Toomey and hope he loses his seat, that spineless shmuck.
ETA- and I'm wrong yet again, he's in till 2023... I hate politics..

With all the opposition for this lady, anyone that voted yes for this POS at the expense of indefensible children of our nation NEEDS to go. Even Trump supporters were opposed to this nominee. It's clear that campaign contributions, $$$, party lines are their main priority and not their constituents. They do not represent us, they are no longer fulfilling their duty which is to represent us. I hope they lose their jobs like all these kids will lose out on an education and teachers losing their jobs.
