We're going through this right now....he just guesses the "party fairy" will come in & magically the party happens perfectly....its the same thing as the mother's day fairy and parent birthday fairies, etc.

Yes...I remember planning my 1st sons 1st birthday party and I had JUST had my 2nd baby-- my husband was clueless & totally didnt help......
For the most part, men dont usually comprehend the concept of paying attention to all of little details like we do,to make our baby's party perfect!

We now have an agreement...I do what I want and he doesn't complain about the cost unless he plans to be more involved. I win either way (Of course I set a budget and stick to it...when I say cost I mean more like his complaining.."why do we need favors")

So funny, because this is the way we do it too. And Chris is the same way, we don't need favors, why do we need favors? That is how he was about the Christening. Although I did make him go look at places with me.
