DH gets up every Sunday so I can sleep in. I am not a SAHM-WAHM but I also travel for appointments

I sleep in Saturdays, he sleeps in Sundays.

I'm 8 months pg, so he definitely lets me sleep in on the weekends. I get up an hour earlier than him during the week, so I really appreciate the extra sleep.

DH works weekends and is off during the week, I am off weekends, so he can't even if he wanted to (though on the rare days we are off together he has, once or twice).

always!! i never have to ask him, he works mon-fri and on the weekends he gets up with the kids. and if he is off or on vacation he will do the same... i am so lucky

No, but DH works until 1130 pm so by the time he gets home and winds down he gets less sleep than I do. Sometimes he gets home later if he gets over time. Mon- Fri DH gets up with DS by 7 am and I get up at 5 am and leave by 6 am. So DH does the mornings by himself. ON the weekends I sleep in until around 7 am which is great compared to 5 am.

He tries to. He really does, but my daughter is all about Mommy. I've decided I will never sleep in again.

On mornings that he's home, he'll get up with the girls and lets me sleep until the baby gets up (or I have to get up for work).

But with 3, I'm usually up throughout the night with one or another, so I hardly call it "sleeping in".

*almost* EVERY day!!

he works from home. So unless he's traveling, he generally gets up with the kids in the morning. This started when they were infants - I was always up during the night because I was BFing, so he'd get up in the morning, and he's way more of a morning person than I am. But sometimes I let him sleep in, and then take a nap once he wakes up.

(its still rare that I'm not up at some point with someone during the night)

so funny bc I was just wondering this b/c I actually slept in today till 10!

I am a SAHM & Usually I am up with DD, DH works 6 days a week so I feel bad his only day off asking him to get up but every now and then I do say I'm sleeping in and being it is so rare he never gives me a problem.

Getting DH up is also like waking a teenager, its torture so half the time I'd rather just get up bc by the time I finally get him up I am so awake I can't get back to sleep~

All the time. I have no complaints. He is an early riser anyway, so on his days off, he is up first and will keep the kids quiet for me.

Last night I said I was so beat, so he told me to sleep in late and he would take the kids to Mass and give them breakfast before he had to leave for work. He woke me up at 10:15 a.m. and only because he was leaving for work and I was still asleep!

as long as hes home on the weekends he comes in and takes the monitor, i dont even realize until i get up at 12 noon

Every Sat and Sun I sleep in. DH is a morning person so i dont think he is capable of sleeping in, so it works out for me! He goes to the gym at 4:30 am everyday so him getting up at 7am on weekends with the kids is sleeping in for him while i lounge in bed until about 9am!

From day 1, we have always alternated who gets up with him in the morning (when dh is home).

When he's working mornings, i get up but then when he has a day off... i get to sleep in.

I'm pretty lucky - DH gets up at 6:00 and leaves for work at 7:00, DD usually gets up between 7:30-8:30, so that's when I get up during the week. On the weekends, DH considers it sleeping late to get up at 7:30, so he's happy to get up and do the morning routine with DD. He actually likes it - he's often jealous of all the time I have with DD that he doesn't - I work part-time a couple of afternoons a week for now.

Hardly...and when he does he makes sure that I know all day long that he got up early

The best part - when he does let me sleep in, he thinks I should at least change DS's diaper while he's getting the bottle ready - than I can go back to sleep...

Ummm really?!?! that defeats the point of letting ME sleep in, I don't ask you to do that when you sleep in

Um, I think 2x in the past 15 months and 1 of those times it was mother's day. No, it usually doesn't happen. It stinks because I'm a working mom. On the other hand though, it's so cool to see my baby first thing in the morning.

DH always wakes up early with DD on weekends and lets me sleep in.

I work FT 4pm-12am and its nice to catch up on sleep on the weekend mornings.

He usually lets me sleep in one day on the weekend. I'm so used to waking up early that I usually get up anyway. But I will sometimes just hang out in our bedroom and watch TV or read while he is downstairs with the kids.
