I also know the fish oil has anti inflammatory properties so I take it for that too.

Re: dha supplements for lining and egg quality?
i've 'heard' of it from my MIL who reads a lot in the Jewish news about IVF treatments and passes along things to me I asked my RE about it and he told me its in my pre-natal vitamins already but if i want to take an additional supplement that it would be fine. I took the Target brand ones for a while, but honestly they were so fishy that i stopped. Waaay TMI here, but it actually made my poops smell fishy!!

EEEEW!!! You basically made up my mind, I'm not even gonna bother!!
Did you get one that said it was purified and had no aftertaste, and it STILL was that bad?

I was on Vit E for lining with Dr. B. and I took the fish oil too. (they have a non-fish smelling one)

Re: dha supplements for lining and egg quality?
I take the omega 3 fish oil (Nordic) in gelcaps and I never burb them up. I take 4000 mg per day for egg quality along with a whole bunch of other stuff!

CVS brand has a non-fish based DHA that I take. Didn't take it for anything other than as a pre-natal supplement though.

Re: dha supplements for lining and egg quality?
I just realized that I never answered your question earlier As far as I know DHA is beneficial for the developing embryo, not for fertility. Maybe you heard about DHEA? I know that DHEA can improve egg numbers/quality but I'm not sure about the lining. Acupuncture helps with the lining even though I know you hate it! DHEA could potentially help out for my issues as well but its side effects just scare the cr@p out of me!

Yes, good point about DHEA!! It is a male hormone I believe and usually contraindicated for ladies with PCOS sue to the existing hormonal issues.

Nahhh it was def DHA!
The acupuncturist suggested this and I mentioned it to Sandra and she agreed... so I looked online to see if it would be worth it to start this too but I can't find any info that backs it up!

Yup you were right! I just managed to confuse myself! DHA is a type of omega-3 fish oil. I just checked the bottle of the fish oil that I take and it contains DHA, EPA and other omega 3s. And omega 3s in general are good for egg quality but I don't know about the lining

Re: dha supplements for lining and egg quality?
Dr b had recommended a specific one to me, it has a high active dha count and it triple purified or something. It does not give me any problems. Once in a blue moon I get a yucky burp but they are very far and few between and I think it's due to my bad reflux when my tummy is empty first thing in the morning, so I just make sure to eat. I'll try to find it online to show you.

Try that. It's from vitamin world. It's a red bottle. If you go on their site on the home page there is a picture on the right hand side
