I really like the backpack ones and DH would totally carry iit. I don't think he would carry a messenger bag style one.

i will probably make him share one with me.
Eddie Bauer and Lands End have some very "neutral" looking diaper bags. I would also like to get one fashionable one for me...

No way. DH would never carry a bag. If he was going out with Andrew he would just bring the one I used and leave it the car "just in case".

I really don't understand why some daddies won't carry a diaper baby for their child - it's not a handbag - it's a bag designed to carry things for their own baby. I can see them not being thrilled about carrying a floral one or something like that - but a basic black bag?

I answered yes, but it's a kinda yes....
After my initial appointment, I got one of those free Enfamil diaper bags. If and when he has Kristina out by himself, and he needs to bring the diaper bag with him, I can assure u that he will NOT take my bag with him.... Wayyyyyyyyy too girlie for him (he sputters and moans when I have him hold my bag for even a millisecond).
So, if things go well with the Enfamil bag... then maybe I will buy him a better bag. But for now - we'll test the waters with the freebie.
