Did anyone else read about the New Years baby?
She was born at 12:01 am.. now thats a New Years Baby..
The parents said they were expecting a boy, they had had a sono last month and they told her its a Boy.. She went out and bought all boy stuff. And was surprised by a  ..
Do they give anything to the first baby born for the new year? My friend told me her DH missed being the new baby by one birth, and missed out on a New Car... but this was @40 yrs ago.

hmm, i don't know if they do. We went to the ER at 3am on New Years Day with DS and everyone was stirring to see if they delivered the first baby yet. I was actually getting excited. We left at 9am and still no word.
