Yes it was a Godsend with bfing, especially after a csection.

This exactly. I did not know I was going to have a csection, but i would have used it even without the csection. It is the easiest way for me to breastfeed. I still use the boppy when i breastfeed at home.

Yes and I was so glad I did. It had many uses. BFing, arm support, back support, hide my gut while sitting up with tons of visitors in and out of my room. Chat Icon

Like most of the previous posters, I brought mine and it was wonderful!! DD was born during the blizzard so we spent a lot of time alone bonding, it was great to just rest her in front of me on the bed so I could stare at her and give my arms a break!

No, I had two of my own pillows with me though...I just used one of those when I wanted to feed the baby.

Wish I had brought My Breast Friend which works better for me. I couldn't get comfortable with just a regulations pillows.

I saw other moms with it in the NICU so when DS was about a week old, I brought mine in and it was really great to have when holding him and when nursing.

I actually forgot about this, so thanks for posting. I'm going to put it on my list of things to bring to the hospital.

Re: Did you bring a boppy to the hospital?

yes! I used it for myself to be honest. I put it around my neck when i was resting and hugged it at night to sleep. I had a csection so it helped with the comfort

Re: Did you bring a boppy to the hospital?

Yes! Very helpful when BFing DD, especially if I was sitting in the chair instead of the bed.

Re: Did you bring a boppy to the hospital?

I did and it was great to have ~ It was a good arm rest while I was holding my ds, especially when I held him for a long time and my arms got tired!

No, but I wish I had. I will definitely bring it when #2 comes along.

Re: Did you bring a boppy to the hospital?

I'm in the minority, I guess. I brought it for #1, but ended up just using extra pillows that the nurses gave me in the hospital. I thought it was bulky to carry there and back, so I left it home with #2.
I plan on keeping it home for #3, too.

Re: Did you bring a boppy to the hospital?

Yes, it was definitely worth having there for both breastfeeding and holding the baby!
