We have an SUV and a small sedan before.
We traded in the SUV for a minivan and kept the sedan.
We use the sedan almost always, the minivan is more for excursions with lots of stuff.
I have to say, I love driving a minivan. I didn't fight it at all.

yes...originally I had a Honda. We bought an SUV. DH still has his Honda and trade it in for an SUV also.

We actually purchased the FJ Cruiser the month we conceived our DS (we did not know we were pregnant) We had a Nissan Sentra now hubby drives as his train car.

I used to drive a two door Honda Accord. I went to a Ford Escape and I got pregnant with Jared. Then my lease was up and I went with a Ford Edge. So yeah, I went with bigger cars.
Now I want to go down to a car again...a Cadillac CTS...

Not at first. I have a four door Car , its decent. NOW..I need a new Car asap and a mini van at that.

I have a 2door honda accord & I desperately need a bigger car.....but money is tight right now. I hope to be able to buy a Honda CRV in August when they have their clearance event. If not August, it will have to wait until next February.
DH has a Honda Ridgeline, so usually whoever has the baby has the truck.

No, I have a 2 door Saturn. It still works for me. It is a little tight getting DD in and out, but not a big deal. I guess eventually we will need a bigger car if/when we have another child. But I can't justiify spending the money for a different car if what we have now works ok.

We actually bought a car before we TTC - an Acura RDX (a small SUV). After DD was born we realized we needed a bigger vehicle and we upgraded to an Acura MDX.

we went from a Ford Focus Hatch to a Honda Accord Sedan for DD.
Now that we're expecting #2 we'll probably go to a Honda Pilot- our lease is up this Oct anyway (#2 due beginning of December).
Honestly- the only reason why we have to get the Pilot is b/c my husbands parents live OOT and when they come in they NEVER rent a car- we have to pick them up. So we would need that 3rd row. so annoying.

no, I have a matrix.
I cart around 2 little boys all day long. its fine. right now, it has a bugaboo, double umbrella and single umbrella in hatch.
2 carseats fit fine.
Its great on gas, paid off, so its here to stay.
