Mine was totally planned. I wanted a May/June bay. I did not want to be PG in the summer. Luckily I got PG on the 2nd month we TTC. DS was born at the end of June.

Next time, I will prefer to have #2 about 1 month sooner. Luckily it will work just as #1.

DH's busy season is January - May so we planned according to that. We were fortunate to get pregnant on the first try so we had our end of May date and were able to both take time off in the summer with him.

It also worked out really well for me too. I had just started a new job when I got pregnant and the timing was perfect. I left for leave right after one of the review cycles and returned in time for the next (it's a huge part of my responsibities). So the next baby we are hoping to time the same way.

We planned our due date. We wanted to celebrate birthdays outside.

DH and I are both summer babies, DH end of June, me end of July and I wanted a July baby.

My EDD was July 1st and he was born on the 5th Chat Icon Chat Icon

We were TTCing and I didn't want to be pregnant for my brother's wedding (or be due around that time).

Well, long story short, I was pregnant for my brother's wedding (only 2 months) and we had a Jan. baby.
It was too cold to go out, I was depressed, the days were long, etc.
If I can choose for next time around I would LOVE a March/April, Aug/Sept. baby.

Then again, the health of the baby is more importantChat Icon

We planned Number 1 to be due in April and that is exactly when she was born. It was perfect for me as a teacher I was off with her from April until Sept.

I am so with you! Next time I would love to have a Spring/Summer due date. Plus, I hate that I will have to plan an indoor 1st birthday party for her. I LOVE the outdoors in the summer!

I planned Jared. I knew I wanted to have him at the end of the school year. He was born June 13th.

The next one I'm planning too...Chat Icon

I did sort of plan them, but each happened a month *before* I planned. I loved both months that my DDs were born: September and May.

September was great because I had my maternity leave over the fall which is my favorite season. Also I loved a summer pregnancy (the first one, anyway Chat Icon ); so many cute clothes!

May worked out great this time since I was leaving my teaching job permanently, and I got to finish most of the year (see, that's why I wanted June!). Also, my DH is a part-time college professor and so would go on summer vacation in May. Also, it was just all-around great weather--which helps when you have another one running around.

DD due date was not planned and was born in January... i would really love for our next child to NOT be born in the winter. it really did stink not being able to leave the house often. we hope to be preggo with #2 late fall/early winter this year so we can have a late summer or fall baby...but if it happens later, it happens later
