Yup
At the pier in Hoboken NJ. Was talking for a bit saying wonderful things I totally forgot (LOL) then got on his knee and took out the ring. I jumped on him he nearly dropped the ring in the Hudson. Thank goodness he didn't!

Yes - I had just finished hosting a birthday party for him and after cleaning up, I was exhausted so went and laid down on his bed. He had a whole plan to propose the next week, but after the great dinner I made, he decided to to it right then - got down on one knee, but I was lying on the bed lol! I was totally surprised!

We were in the sculpture garden of the American Wing at the Met my fave
maybe consider making this a poll?

Yes (well, not my DH, but DW's DH..   ) It was at a secluded part of the beach, so I wasn't worried about the attention.

Yup.
DH took me to dinner and a play in the city, during dinner we were talking and I mentioned how my BFF thought that it would be another year from that point before we got engaged (I had a feeling he would be proposing that night)... and DH agreed, said yeah, that sounded about right. Well, I was upset to say the least. Plus, my feet were killing me after the play so the after play walk through the city got killed. He had the ring in his pocket the whole night, trying to find a place to do it. The walk back to penn got ruined because of my achey feet and horrible shoes, then the walk back from the train station to our apt got ruined because of our chatty upstairs neighbor.... who's a$$ of a boyfriend was waiting downstairs for her so that got ruined. I went to throw the shoes in the trashcan, turned around and in the doorway from the dining room to the kitchen my DH was down on one knee with the ring in his hand. I didn't see the ring at first, just him on the ground, and legit told him to get up because he was going to get his pants dirty. Then he grabbed my hand and made me look at him and focus. It was really hysterical and honestly totally perfect for us... This poor guy was carrying around $10K in his pocket in NYC all night long... loose (because he didn't want to have it in the box because I would see the box).
