nope, we were on the beach at a sunset dinner in aruba. he was nervous about dropping the ring in the sand.
hopefully we will be able to go back to the beach sometime.

he was waiting on one knee in front of the christmas tree in our apartment when I got home from work. he put lit tea lights on the stairs, and I , not thinking anything of it, went up one stair at a time blowing them out because they were a fire hazard and i was afraid the cat would set her fur on fire (wondering the whole time why anybody would break in to light candles on my stairs) when I got up the stairs, i was like "what did u do with the cat? is she ok?" he was so nervous, he didn't even give me his whole speech, just asked if i would marry him. i said "of course" like it should have been obvious. and then my brain FINALLY caught up with me and my knees buckled. LOL
leave it to me to ruin the most romantic proposal 
This made me laugh! I could picture myself being the same way!
lol. i still laugh.
just to show how truly oblivious i was:
i used to call him each day after work on my drive home. he took the day off, but knew if he didn't pick up his cell i would call the office, so he had to talk to me. i thought the reception was bad, so i asked where he was. he casually told me he's in the file room looking for something. i completely didn't think anything of it and accepted that. it wasn't until AFTER we were engaged and i calmed down that i remember there IS no file room at his job and all the files are kept in his actual office!

He had my family and his family waiting for us at the bar of the restaurant we had our first date at and got down on one knee in front of everyone

Yes during a trip to Martha's Vineyard with friends. I thought he was messing with me and I kept telling him to "shut up" and "Get the f*ck up." I'm such a classy chick. 
We were fortunate to have our friends with us to snap some photos of the proposal.  It's one of the few photos of us that I display.

Yup! And when he got down on one knee- I followed!! WHY?!?! I don't know but to this day we still talk about it how we were both kneeling!! Awww memories!!!

I walked in to my sisters backyard,I thought I was getting my niece and going to IHOP lol
I walked into 30 friends and family,my nieces and nephew holding a will you marry me sign and dh on one knee
I love that inhale video and pics. Means so much to me
