Disney in September
Thinking of taking my DD to Disney in Sept for the long weekend the kids have off from school. Do you think it will be way too crowded? How is the weather down there in Sept??
I already looked at flights and they're on the expensive side. It would just be me and DD since my DH isn't off from work.

September is still pretty sizzling, and it rains each day typically, but it's brief. I would guess it will be busy because of the holiday AND because Disney tends to be busy on Fri, Sat, Sun anyway. We went over a Jewish holiday period a few years ago, and it was busy.

we went to DW in Sept of 2015 and it was very low crowds and amazing weather. on the hot side. we loved going then.

It will be busier because of others like you... but it's not horrible (I've gone during this type of weekend a few years ago) but I love September as a time to go!

Disney in September
We went for Rosh Hashanah last year and it was very crowded and very hot hot. It didn't rain much.
We typically go around then every other year but, last year was the most crowded we've seen it. And it rained the least.
ETA - Just wanted to add that Rosh Hashanah was in Oct last year - the week before Columbus Day so that may have had something to do with the crowds.

September is one of my favorite times of year to visit Walt Disney World.
It will still be hot, and it will rain possibly daily but usually for brief periods in the afternoon. Any holiday weekend tends to be busier than regular weekends which tend to be busier than weekdays but it will be less crowded than a summer weekend.

We'll be there too. Its a low crowd time but the week with the Jewish holidays may be more crowded.

We went a few years ago in late September. It was supposed to be low crowds but it was still very crowded. Weather was decent. still hot but not unbearable.
