DIY flooring project for floor on slab
Ok, so it's just me (female) wanting to tackle a flooring project.
no difficult tools, not rocket science.
it's a laundry room with a disgusting berber carpet that gives me the shivers everytime I walk in there.
any such flooring project that will last in a laundry room a few years?
and... easy for a very impatient person?
(I am poop out of luck, aren't I?)

I installed Allure vinyl plank flooring in my basement by myself.
It is super easy and actually looks really good!
Look up "allure vinyl plank flooring installation" on Youtube. You can see how easy it is. The only problem I came across was cutting it straight when I got to the end of the wall. But that was only because I didn't have anything to cut it with.

DIY flooring project for floor on slab
I have time, laminate wood, and actual harwood.
I would suggest tile or laminate but both need a level surface so you and if I remember you are in a levitt. Chances are its not level so you will need to get leveling compound. Not hard just another step.

True! I am in a levit ranch. I have to pull up that nasty rug and see what's under. don't want to do that, though until I am set on a floor... don't want to have to hire anyone. Plus! I just want to complete a DIY all by myself.

Flooring isn't hard. You can do it. You tube videos. And since its a small space it won't be that bad.
